HISTORIE/DOCUMENTATIE
Deze Alfa Romeo is op 17 maart 1971 nieuw geleverd door de fabriek in Milaan aan de eerste Italiaanse eigenaar. De authentieke dealersticker pronkt nog op de achterruit. In 2002 is de auto geïmporteerd naar Nederland, waar hij altijd in bezit is geweest van dezelfde eigenaar. Een liefhebber die meerdere Alfa Romeo's in zijn bezit heeft. Te zien is dat de auto met liefde en passie is onderhouden en gebruikt. Een map vol facturen is bij de auto aanwezig. Tamelijk bijzonder is dat de huidige eigenaar de auto al 23 jaar in bezit heeft. De Alfa Romeo is stijlvol uitgevoerd in een onderscheidende groene kleur, die prachtig combineert met het bruin lederen interieur.

EXTERIEUR
Het lakwerk is opnieuw gespoten en verkeert in zeer goede staat met een fraaie glans. Het zonnige klimaat heeft de auto goed gedaan: in hoeverre wij hebben kunnen onderzoeken verkeert de Alfa in las- en schadevrije conditie. Ook is de auto roestvrij. Het vele chroomwerk en de rubbers verkeren in goede staat, zonder verwering of verdroging. Rubbers en chroomwerk zijn waar nodig vervangen, zoals de buitenspiegels en ruiterwisserbladen. De 15" wielen beschikken over verchroomde sierdeksels. Wat de 1750 onderscheidt van andere modellen, zijn de karakteristieke knipperlichten gemonteerd op de voorbumper en de kenmerkende klaverblaadjes 'Quadrifoglio Oro' nabij de achterruiten. Het is al met al een waar kunstwerk om te zien.

INTERIEUR
Ook het karakteristieke interieur is een waar kunstwerk en verkeert in zeer nette staat. De karakteristieke tuimelschakelaartjes vervelen nooit, en het interieur is schitterend afgewerkt met veel chroomwerk en ingelegd hout. De auto laat zich besturen door het fraaie houten 3-spaaks Hellebore stuurwiel. Dankzij twee stoelen achterin kunnen 4 personen genieten van de auto. Het prachtige bruine leer is vrij van beschadigingen en pronkt op de voor- en achterstoelen, alsmede de deurportieren. Het interieur is waar nodig opnieuw bekleed. Ook de 4 vloermatten en de hemelbekleding verkeren in nette staat. Opvallende details zijn de imposante, grote tellerklokken, de in hoogte verstelbare hoofdsteunen en de ontgrendeling van de kofferbak, die zich bevindt in de opening van de bestuurdersdeur. Bij voorgaande modellen zat deze ontgrendeling verstopt aan de passagierskant (rechterzijde) van de auto. De authentieke radio is nog aanwezig en wordt ten gehore gebracht via speakers aan zowel de voor- als de achterzijde van het interieur. De kofferruimte is in goede staat en biedt onder meer plaats aan het reservewiel, die keurig is afgedekt met een koffermat.

TECHNISCH
Uitvoerige (onderhouds)documentatie zijn bij de auto aanwezig. Hij is zorgvuldig en met passie onderhouden, veelal door Alfa Romeo specialisten. Door de jaren heen zijn veel onderdelen vervangen zoals schokdempers, elektronica, het stuurhuis, de achteras, fuseekogels, lager-steunen en de uitlaatdemper. In 2012 is de versnellingsbak gereviseerd. De motorruimte ziet er verzorgd en droog uit. De accu is vernieuwd in 2023. De auto staat rondom op - hoe kan het ook anders - Pirelli zomerbanden die nog in goede staat verkeren. De 4-cilinder Twin Cam motor is 1779 cc groot en levert 120 pk. De handgeschakelde 5-versnellingsbak zorgt tezamen met achterwielaandrijving voor een ultieme rijervaring. De auto start, rijdt en schakelt naar behoren.

De Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV is een type van de 105/115 serie en werd gebouwd van 1967 tot 1972 en was de opvolger van de Giulia Sprint GT Veloce. De motor werd vergroot en kreeg 12 pk meer. De combinatie van kracht, vermogen en souplesse maakt de 1750 motor het meest geliefd. Het ontwerp van Bertone is een lust voor het oog en de auto staat dan ook wel bekend als één van de mooiste 2+2 coupés ooit gebouwd: met het robuust ogende front en strak getekende lijnen is het nog altijd een begeerd model. De 1750 GTV kreeg dankzij dubbele koplampen een compleet nieuwe uitstraling. Op autosportgebied was en is de auto zeer succesvol. Met een lengte van ca. 4 meter en een gewicht van ca. 970 kg is de auto dan ook wendbaar en sportief.

HISTORY/DOCUMENTATION
This Alfa Romeo was delivered new from the Milan factory to its first Italian owner on 17 March 1971. The authentic dealer sticker still adorns the rear window. In 2002, the car was imported to the Netherlands, where it has always been owned by the same owner. An enthusiast who has owned several Alfa Romeo's. You can see that the car has been maintained and used with love and passion. A folder full of invoices is present with the car. Rather unusually, the current owner has owned the car for 23 years. The Alfa Romeo is stylishly finished in a distinctive green colour, which pairs beautifully with the brown leather interior.

EXTERIOR
The paintwork has been repainted and is in very good condition with a beautiful shine. The sunny climate has done the car good: as far as we have been able to examine, the Alfa is in weld- and damage-free condition. The car is also rust-free. The many chrome parts and rubbers are in good condition, with no weathering or drying. Rubbers and chrome work have been replaced where necessary, such as the wing mirrors and wiper blades. The 15-inch wheels feature chrome trim covers. What distinguishes the 1750 from other models are the distinctive indicators mounted on the front bumper and the distinctive ‘Quadrifoglio Oro’ clover leaves near the rear windows. All in all, it is a true work of art to behold.

INTERIOR
The characteristic interior is also a true work of art and is in very clean condition. The characteristic rocker panels never bore, and the interior is beautifully finished with lots of chrome work and inlaid wood. The car can be driven by the beautiful wooden 3-spoke Hellebore steering wheel. Thanks to two rear seats, 4 people can enjoy the car. The beautiful brown leather is free of damage and flaunts on the front and rear seats, as well as the door doors. The interior has been reupholstered where necessary. The 4 floor mats and headlining are also in clean condition. Notable details are the imposing, large counter clocks, the height-adjustable headrests and the boot release, which is located in the driver's door opening. In previous models, this release was hidden on the passenger side (right side) of the car. The authentic radio is still present and is played through speakers at both the front and rear of the interior. The boot is in good condition and accommodates, among other things, the spare wheel, which is neatly covered by a boot mat.

TECHNICAL
Extensive (maintenance) documentation is present with the car. It has been carefully and passionately maintained, mostly by Alfa Romeo specialists. Over the years, many parts have been replaced, including shock absorbers, electronics, the steering box, the rear axle, ball joints, bearing supports and the exhaust silencer. In 2012, the gearbox was overhauled. The engine compartment looks cared for and dry. The battery was renewed in 2023. The car is all around on - how could it be otherwise - Pirelli summer tyres that are still in good condition. The 4-cylinder Twin Cam engine measures 1779 cc and produces 120 hp. The 5-speed manual gearbox, together with rear-wheel drive, provides the ultimate driving experience. The car starts, drives and shifts properly.
