The Triumph TR6 is a sports car produced by British car manufacturer Triumph from 1968 to 1976. It was the successor to the Triumph TR5 and was offered as a convertible with a folding roof. The TR6 was a popular car because of its sporty looks, good performance and relatively affordable price. The car was powered by a 2.5-litre six-cylinder engine. The TR6 was also one of the first cars to have disc brakes on all four wheels as standard. In total, more than 94,000 examples of the TR6 were produced, making it one of the best-selling Triumph models ever. Today, the TR6 is still a popular car among collectors and classic car enthusiasts.

This is a unique version of a TR6. The rally-ready Triumph has many unique aspects compared to your regular classic 2-seater. For starters, it is finished in a striking "Saffron Yellow" opposite dark blue leather upholstery. Around the seats, there is a 4-point harness with a roll bar behind it. On the wooden dashboard, there is a comprehensive instrument panel where you can get a good read on the car. The door panels are black, as are the carpet and dashboard surround. Steering is done with the classic Moto-Lita steering wheel. The standard front bumper has been replaced by 4 stylish fog lights. These consist of 2 high-beam headlights and 2 wide-beam headlights. The different exhaust system forms a sound that makes the 6-cylinder sound nice and sporty. At the bottom of the car, 15-inch alloy wheels of neat quality are present.

In 1972, the Triumph was delivered new in America. After spending several years abroad, it was first registered on Dutch plates in 1993. In 1996, the car participated in the tulip rallye!

Under the bonnet is the tuned 2.5-litre 6-cylinder. It is fitted with K&N filters, Kent Fast-Road camshafts, SU carburettors, electronic ignition and more. The engine runs and sounds great! The engine is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission that runs and shifts smoothly.

In terms of documentation, there are several manuals present, along with invoices, including from specialists, and more miscellaneous info.
