A Porsche to dream of: a well-maintained 911 SC with the famous air-cooled 6-cylinder with 204 hp, in very original condition and in a stunning composition: ‘Guards Red’ paint (027) combined with a black leather interior and black Fuchs rims. This 911 SC (D-series) was delivered new in September 1982 to (reportedly) the general manager of the truck brand Scania. Present with the car are the owner's manual, service booklet, service invoices, history, inspection reports, a spare wheel and fire extinguisher. Of particular note is the rust-free and original condition the car is in, with the original welds still in place. The black leather interior is still in fine condition and features optional luxuries: electric windows, an electric sunroof and a working Blaupunkt Heidelberg RCM 40 radio cassette player. In addition, the 911 is equipped with optional rear window heating, which can be adjusted to different settings using a dial. Original booklets such as the instruction booklet, Blaupunkt instruction booklet, alarm manual are still present. In addition, a filled folder with comprehensive maintenance documentation is present. The Porsche has been well maintained, for example, the alternator was replaced in 2021 and a service was carried out in both 2021 and 2022. The last service included replacing the timing belt. The Porsche has only been owned by 4 different owners and is currently registered on Swedish plates. Driving the car is a delight: it shifts, brakes and runs as it should. The air-cooled 6-cylinder boxer engine produces 204 hp and is operated by the 5-speed manual transmission. In short: a beautifully executed and highly original example of the coveted 911 SC. A real driver's car and fine addition to any collection.

General information about the Porsche 911 SC
The Porsche 911 SC (Super Carrera) succeeded the 2.7-litre G-series 911 in 1978 and was built until 1983. This generation of the iconic sports car focused mainly on fuel economy, reliability and comfort. The engine was enlarged to 3.0-litre and received more power over the years. In terms of appearance, the car also received significant changes: a wider body with flared wheel arches and considerably less chrome, giving the model a tougher impression. Over the years, the model was constantly improved, culminating in the latest D-series produced from 1982 onwards. For instance, the bodywork was strengthened, the interior was fitted with 4 speakers as standard and some technical improvements were made. Of the European 911 SC Coupé D-series, 2,995 units were delivered. Thanks in particular to its powerful and reliable engine, the 911 SC is rising in popularity. The timeless sports car embodies the distinctive design and performance Porsche is known for.
