MG Midget models were available in a variety of versions over the years. It all started with the MK1. These were produced from 1961 to 1964. The included engine consisted of 948cc with twin carburettors with which it produced around 46hp. The successor to the MK1 was, as you might expect, called the MK2. Production began in 1964 and ended again in 1966. Changes versus its ancestor included components like the doors, windows, and miscellaneous. The engine block was modified a bit, producing 59hp. A total of about 26,601 of these were produced. After this came the corresponding MK3 model. This production ran from 1966 to the year 1974. This was equipped with a 1275cc engine which produced 65hp. Again, various things were changed to both the appearance and the engine. There was even a facelift model after a few years. No less than 77,831 examples of the MK3 drove out of the factory over the years.

A beautiful specimen of a Midget MK3. That's how this MG should be seen. It was built in the year 1968 and was restored at the beginning of 2002. There is a large amount of invoices and documentation present. These invoices add up to around €12,000. So no savings were made on the MG and this is also reflected in the car's current fine condition. A cherished classic with a damage-free history. Since January 1996 from the last owner who bought the MG in the Netherlands. It took him seven years to fully restore it. On 13/8/2003, the Midget was registered in the Netherlands for the first time.

The red paint is in perfect condition. The same can be said about the black interior. The white accents in the upholstery complete the complete picture. These can even be found as far as the door panels. The chrome bumpers and details are still very nice. The underside of the car is hard and rust-free. At the back of the car, another chrome trunk rack can be found. The MG is also equipped with 13-inch spoke rims and front disc brakes. The boot is neatly lined with black fabric and is included with a spare wheel. The black soft-top is of still nice quality.

The engine block consists of 1275cc and 4 cylinders. It is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. It runs nicely and shifts smoothly. The engine compartment also looks very clean.

In short, a very nice and well cared for MG Midget MK3 with still many kilometres in store!
