- 3,500 cc 6-cylinder engine

American class at its best! This Chevy was built in 1950. It was later restored and recently imported from Illinois, USA. Thanks to the restoration, it is in excellent condition: rust-free, a dry. engine compartment and an interior in very clean condition. In September 2024, the car was fully professionally detailed. The green and black paintwork therefore shines like never before, as does the chrome work. This is a handsome ‘stepside’ model with an impressive front and cargo box inlaid with wood. The interior features burgundy leather upholstery and heating. The 216 CU (3,500 cc) 6-cylinder engine is served by the 4-speed manual transmission. The engine has also been well maintained and the car therefore drives well. A beautiful car with many possibilities: think delightful touring, eye-catcher at vintage events, collector's item or marketing purposes.
General information about the Chevrolet 3600 Pick-Up
The official name of the Chevrolet Pick-Up range is ‘Advance Design’. It was Chevrolet's first major new design after World War II. It was larger, more powerful and sleeker than the previous AK series and was built from 1947 to 1955. Improvements were made annually and the engine was revved up. The model was popular because it was very practical but also relatively manageable. In addition, it was relatively economical in both purchase, maintenance and fuel consumption. Chevrolet also advertised that the car had low depreciation.
