MGB GT V8 "Sebring" 1979

De MGB kwam op de markt als tweedeurs sportwagen die van 1962 tot 1980 werd geproduceerd door de British Motor Corporation (BMC), later de Austin-Morris-divisie van British Leyland, als een viercilinder sportwagen met softtop. Later kwamen varianten als de MGB GT driedeurs 2+2 coupé (1965-1980), de zescilinder sportwagen en coupé MGC (1967-1969), en de achtcilinder 2+2 coupé, de MGB GT V8 (1973- 76) op de markt.

Deze MGB uit 1979 begon zijn leven in Groot-Brittannië en werd door een specialist professioneel gebouwd als/met Sebring-Specificatie zoals de Works MGB's. Hij werd in 2011 in Nederland geïmporteerd en alleen gebruikt om in de zomer te toeren. De staat van de auto is op alle gebieden uitstekend en hij verkeert werkelijk in nieuwstaat. Extreem goed onderhouden.

Veel mensen weten niet dat een Alloy Rover V8 lichter is dan de originele 4-cilinder motor met twee keer zoveel vermogen, wat zorgt voor een zeer goed bestuurbare, betrouwbare en gemakkelijk te besturen auto. Een ideale betaalbare all-round historische high-performance auto.

The MGB entered the market as a two-door sports car produced from 1962 to 1980 by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), later the Austin-Morris division of British Leyland, as a four-cylinder sports car with soft top. Later variants such as the MGB GT three-door 2+2 coupe (1965-1980), the six-cylinder sports car and coupe MGC (1967-1969), and the eight-cylinder 2+2 coupe, the MGB GT V8 (1973- 76) entered the market.

This 1979 MGB began life in the UK and was professionally built by a specialist as/with Sebring specification like the Works MGBs. It was imported to the Netherlands in 2011 and used only for touring in the summer. The condition of the car is excellent in all areas and it really is in like-new condition. Extremely well maintained.

Many people do not know that an Alloy Rover V8 is lighter than the original 4-cylinder engine with twice the power, making for a very drivable, reliable and easy to drive car. An ideal affordable all-round historic high-performance car.
